Florence China-Italy Economic and Cultural Exchange Dinner
The Florence International Handicrafts Exhibition, in collaboration with the Shanghai SME Development Service Center, Shanghai Creative City Technology Development Co., Ltd., and the ARTEX, hosted a grand economic and cultural exchange dinner. The event attracted numerous important guests from both China and Italy, becoming a significant platform for deepening business and cultural ties between the two countries.
The dinner was held at Palazzo Vecchio in the center of Florence. Before the event, Wang Leyi, leader of the Shanghai SME delegation, delivered the opening speech. Following this, Enrico Conti, Chairman of the Economic Development and Business Activities Committee of the City of Florence, spoke on behalf of the Florence municipal government, expressing firm commitment to enhancing cooperation between China and Italy. Consul General Guan Zhongqi from the Chinese Consulate General in Florence also delivered remarks, emphasizing the importance and profound significance of cooperation between the two countries across multiple sectors.
Additionally, important Italian guests including Laura Sparavigna, Chair of the Employment and Training Committee of the Florence City Government; Luca Tonini, President of the Crafts and SMEs Federation of Tuscany Region; Giacomo Cioni, President of the Florence Crafts and SMEs Federation; and Luca Rebellato, Mayor of Novi, participated in the dinner. Representatives from the Shanghai SME delegation and cultural industry representatives from the Yangtze River Delta region also attended the event.
During the dinner, representatives from China and Italy engaged in extensive exchanges, discussing future cooperation opportunities and reaching preliminary agreements on various aspects including cultural exchange and business collaboration. The dinner not only provided an opportunity for both sides to deepen their understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
